The Fox and The Wolf

This is a fable i wrote. A fable is a story about animals with human qualities, and will often have a moral or lesson to it. Comment.

My favourite fable is the race between the tortoise and the hare, where the tortoise wins because he never gives up but the hare was over-confident and thought he could win after sleeping.

Once there was a small and sly fox, and as he was hunting in the woods, he soon met a wolf, who wanted to eat him. “Hello my cousin!” said the fox. "be that as it may, I am going to eat you out of my hunger, " said the hungry wolf. "please don't eat me, I can give you food, " cried the fox. The fox went to a chicken farm, and killed several chickens. He gave it to the wolf, but he said it wasn't enough to please him. The fox went went to the farm, and brought more chickens to the wolf. The wolf still wanted more so the fox got all the chickens and gave it to the wolf. "Thank you cousin, but next time I won't let you off so easy," said the wolf. "Of course not," whispered the wolf slyly. At night when the wolf was sleeping, the fox murdered the wolf and took back all the food. "Haha, don't trust a fox, " said the laughing fox.
