A New Family Member!

You might think I have new sibling, but we got a new pet cat! Its name is Mimi, and it’s a boy. Here’s the story of how I got the cat. Near a construction site, it lived with four siblings and its mom. They were all babies and their eyes weren’t opened yet. A dog came along and ate two siblings, also biting off half of Mimi’s tail. My mom’s friend found the cats and shooed the dog away. She gave Mimi to us and two cats to another person.

At first, we fed Mimi milk with a tiny bottle. It drank that for a month and a half and then we started putting a bit of solid food in the milk, and soon it didn't drink milk at all. We always feed it food in a can and some cereal.

Mimi loves to climb on chairs and tables, and it loves balls and strings. It sometimes bites when its angry or too excited, but it is very fun to play with Mimi. At a near shopping mall, we saw a cat that looked exactly like Mimi, but it had a full tail. I thought it was one of its siblings!

Sometimes, when it is nice, we give it some meat or fish at dinner. It loves that but we can’t give it too much. It also loves watching the fish move around in the bowl and the rain. It is a very curious cat and sometimes it even jumps on the dinner table to see what we're eating! It's not allowed to do that but it always does.

Soccer Wednesday!

Every Wednesday, my family and about five other families go to a big park called Richmond Green to play two hours of fun soccer. There are many kids and adults that play soccer with us, and sometimes they even fly kites when it’s windy enough. The little kids just run around and scream but the adults and big kids play a game of soccer together.

Every time we play soccer, there is someone playing the bagpipes. It is soo annoying! It sounds like someone with a high voice barfing out elephants! The kids always scream when they play the bagpipes and run like mad monkeys.

The soccer games are very exciting and we just play for fun. I have plenty of friends at Soccer Wednesday and that’s what makes it fun. A family that lives close to us always comes and I always make fun of the girl because she isn’t that good at soccer.

My dad and mom also play and my mom is an awesome goalie! She blocked two shots in a row and also was a great defense.

I love Soccer Wednesday, and I go today!
