Student Led-Conference
I just had my student-led conference this year! The student-led conference is when the student teaches the parent about everything he/she learned in that term. I think it was a great experience to learn how to sort of "teach". It was sort of a scary thing, since I wasn't used to doing something like this.
We were asked to present for 20 minutes, and I used up 30 minutes to show my dad everything, and speak to my teacher about how I could improve. My biggest problem is that I get too distracted in class, and I talk too much. I will have to try not to talk so much, and listen closely to the lessons the teacher is teaching us. I will strive to get my marks up by term 2, and stop my old habits.
