The Black Temple
The mighty Alliance cannot defeat the Burning Legion. As the years go by, the evil Legion had been using more and more dark arts in the Black Temple. Many years ago, the Black Temple was once a holy sanctuary for the naaru to live in. One day, many demons infiltrated the holy temple and took control of it. The naaru had to flee and the Alliance let them join them to live in their humane city, Stormwind. After many years, an evil night elf took control of the temple with the help of the Burning Legion. The naaru were allowed back into their temple, but this only meant a new evil master would use the temple for dark arts.
Tonzillem, an old gnome mage had foresaw this, and there was only one way to defeat the Legion in the Outlands. A young boy named Aetus was destined to save the temple. “We must find Aetus, the greatest shaman in his next life, before it’s too late.
“Hey Daniel!” Aetus yelled as he ran after his friend. A mystical portal suddenly appeared in front of him and sucked him inside. “Ahhhh! Kidnappers!” Aetus screamed as he was teleported to the Alliance camp in Hellfire Peninsula. “Ahhh! What am I doing in this place?” Aetus said. “Calm down young one, you have been summoned to help us in our time of need. The Burning Legion has captured our holy temple and is using its arcane power to push our forces back. You are our only hope. You must stop Illidan. It is your destiny.” Tonzillem said calmly. “Soo, am I supposed to defeat some kind of crazy and demented creature, sacrificing my life, just to help you, some random short guy?” Aetus yelled with impatience. “Send me back to my own world! This has nothing to do with me!” “NO! This has something to do with you! If Illidan destroys our world, it’ll only be a matter of time before he destroys yours! Do you understand how easy he could obliterate your puny human society?!” Tonzillem yelled.
Aetus was silent. He knew what he had to do. He also knew why he was chosen. Ever since he was 5, he discovered he had magical powers. He could summon lightning from the sky and turn things to ashes, but every time he tried, he messed it up. He thought maybe if he did this, he could learn how to master his powers and use them in his world. “All right, shorty, but you’re gonna have to teach me my powers.” Aetus whispered. Tonzillem nodded and walked away. Aetus wanted to ask why he was walking, but suddenly a draenei jumped in front of him. The draenei Orvish was his new teacher, and Aetus looked at him in horror. He had blood stains all over his body, scars, and wounds. Aetus said nothing and followed Orvish into a small tent.
“We will begin your training here, in this tent. Sit very still and concentrate on your connection with nature. This is a basic skill shamans must learn. Aetus tried hard to concentrate, and a small flash of blue light went around him. Aetus was amazed at how fascinating the balance was nature was and mastered it easily. “You are a fast learner, we will probably finish this training in less than a day.” Orvish complemented. Aetus was happy and continued to his next quest. After several trainings, Aetus finally got to the real test. He must destroy a tree with his thunder bolt in one shot. Aetus concentrated very hard and launched a ball of lightning towards the huge tree. The crackle of the lightning was loud and deafening. The tree had a giant hole in it. Aetus had failed, but he tried again. This time he actually missed the tree. He kept launching thunder bolts at trees, and finally he felled a tree. “Good job Aetus, back when I was training, I took days to get a tree down, you are very impressive.” Orvish admitted with pride. It was time for battle. The Alliance had planned a full out attack on the temple’s west gate, but had failed. The forces have just recovered and it was time for a new plan. “This time, we shall lay a siege on the whole temple. First, we shall weaken their forces by killing all the guards. I have already called the dwarfs to do that. They can do it easier with their hunter skills.” Said Officer Jaxon.” “Next, we will call only the night elves and draenei to go in. The rest must stay to lay the siege. The humans will take out the main commanders, and the draenei must go with Aetus to kill Illidan. All right, let’s go! To war!!!!!” yelled Officer Jaxon.
Aetus was running with the rest of the draenei party. There was Illidan. He charged straight at Aetus. Aetus quickly casted a lightning bolt towards him and jumped to the side. Illidan was hit straight in the chest and winced in pain. The mages were burning Illidan with fireballs so Illidan had to summon his minions. The minions were giant demons. Some mages were killed by the demons but they were finished by Orvish. Aetus frostshocked Illidan to slow him down, then casted a lightning bolt once again. Illidan dodged the bolt and threw one of his twin blades at Aetus. “Uhhhh, finish the job, Aetus.” Orvish said after getting sliced in half by the blade. “Noooo!!!!” Aetus screamed. “You will pay!” Aetus gathered all the nature energy around him and launched the biggest thunder bolt ever seen. The mages all used pyroblast and merged it with his bolt. A gigantic, fiery and blue boulder of thunder was created and Illidan screamed in horror.
Aetus was back in his world once again. “Feels good to be back.” He said.
