The Sound of Music
The story was about a nun named Maria that wasn’t obeying rules of the nuns’ so was sent to the family of Von Trapp as a governess to seven children of Captain Georg Ritter von Trapp, a widower and a decorated commander in the former Austro-Hungarian Navy. The children, initially hostile and mischievous, come to like her, and she finds herself falling in love with the captain. He was soon to be married to Baroness Elsa Schraeder but marries Maria instead.
Maria teaches the children to sing and have fun. She also teaches them not to be scared and what to do at times. But when the Germans started attacking
What I like about The Sound of Music
I never saw a real live play before and I think The Sound of Music is a very good play. What I like about it is the actors hardly make any mistakes and were not shy and they speak loudly with confidence in their voices. It is obvious that they put lots of emotion into it and use much strength and courage. That is why people want to see the play over and over again because it is so good.
My favourite part
My favourite part is when the Captain sang together with Maria and the children. The captain was so shocked by the beautifully sang song that he sang along together too.
Buy houses
Yesterday was Saturday, 7th of April. We are going to buy houses for the future and my brother and I are going to stay at my friend’s house while my parents look for houses.
We drove there and we even recorded the time to tell us about what time we can reach there. We were almost out of fuel and I was worried. My dad said we can still hold it until the night because the fuel charges were too expensive. We drove there very quickly and my friend’s house was full of toys and candy. We played and played and then mom and dad came back. Then we went to other places and saw cool houses that weren’t even built yet. Then we drove back and had lunch with them.
We now are still deciding about the houses and which is best.

Canada Day
Mustang GT
We drove to the centre of cars with another family and I fell asleep with my brother on the way. By the time I woke up, we were at the centre and the cars were so cool! There was silver, black with 2 gold stripes and many other colors of the Mustangs. I liked the red one with black stripes the best because it looks like fire.Ribs Festival
It was lunchtime and so we drove to
Firework
It was time for the fireworks! We ran to the Public Library beside North York Centre and watched the fireworks. They were beautiful! There was so many colors and types of fireworks. When it ended, it started raining and everybody went home.
It was a good trip!

Today we went to see houses again. I like houses because their big and have so much space to play on. Some of the sections of houses were all sold before we even got there! There must be lots of people waiting to buy houses too. The best section is all sold except for two of the biggest houses.
Many of the houses looked very huge like there are 2 of them pasted together. When we went for lunch we saw a house with 4 parking lots and 3 of the parking lots were full of cool and powerful cars and the cars cost even more than the house! I also found some facts on the Online Encyclopedia called Wikipedia when I went home;
Alley
An alley or alleyway is a narrow, pedestrian lane found in urban areas which usually run between or behind buildings. In older cities and towns in Europe, alleys are often what is left of a medieval street network. In the British Isles an alley may be a right of way or ancient footpath in an urban setting. In Victorian urban development, alleys were built to allow for delivery of coal to the rear of houses.
Blind alleys have no outlet at one end.
Boulevard
Dutch Bolwerk – bolwark, meaning bastion) has several generally accepted meanings. It was first introduced in the French language in 1435 als boloard and has since been altered into boulevard.
A boulevard is usually a wide, multi-lane arterial divided thoroughfare, often with an above-average quality of landscaping and scenery.
In Toronto, we have for example, Lake Shore Boulevard.
Promenades
An esplanade or promenade is a raised walkway area. Although an esplanade can be anywhere, almost all are alongside the sea, a tidal river or other large water body. This allows people to walk along the sea front, usually for recreational purposes, whatever the state of the tide, without having to walk on the beach.
Trail
A country trail in Slovenia
A mountain trail
A trail or footpath is a pedestrian road mainly used for recreational walking, but often also for bicycling, cross-country skiing or other activities. Some trails are off-limits to everyone other than hikers, and few trails allow motorized vehicles. Trail use has become very popular for a wide variety of users. Some trails are designated as nature trails, and are used by people learning about the natural world. Many trails are designated day trails, meaning that they are generally used by people out for a short hike, less than a day. Trails have lots and lots of uses for outdoor campers and travelers too.
It was fun knowing this facts and going to the houses!

Yesterday, 6th of April, we went to Marineland with many other families and friends. Marineland is located in Niagara Falls, Marineland road. Somebody in our group got a travel agent to buy the tickets for us in order to get the groups discount (20+ people).
Aquarium Dome
We drove more than an hour to rearch there. It was so hot that I felt like we were in a volcano! After the agent bought the tickets for us, we first went to the Aquarium Dome. It has many fish under it and lots of big ones. Some of them are so big that they are bigger than my friend. In it, some trainers and seals and sea lions performed amazing tricks and they could even clap and wave its hands! They were so friendly they even hugged people.
King Waldorf Stadium
Second we went to King Waldorf Stadium. It was huge! Thousands of people were watching the show and we liked it very much. A man performed tricks that he did wrong and did funny stuff. And then the trainers let the seals slide down the slide and they swam around so fast you can barely see them. And then the man slid down the slide and the biggest seal rescued him and got the huge ring.
Deer Park
Then we walked to Deer Park. It was in a castle that is old and there was many male deer wandering around on the grass and sand. The female deer were in a fence and people fed them.
Bear Country
Forth we went to Bear Country and looked at and fed the bears. Then we bought ice-cream to cool down.
Arctic Cove
Then we went to Arctic Cove, where the Beluga whales swam around in and played. We took pictures of the whales and walked to Friendly Cove.
Friendly Cove
In the Friendly Cove there are Killer whales that roam in the water and they were very gentle and kind.
Then we went home and watched movies. It was my favourite trip ever!

Anne of Green Gables
I like it because it describes things very clearly and entertains me very much. I like when it tells every detail of what it says and it makes me scared and think of what will happen to Anne. I even imagined myself being her and think of what to do. The book has no bad stuff in it and I find it a very good one too. It is probably the best book I have ever read before! You should buy it from a store and read it! I am also going to read the other books of Anne.

Mustang Gt
Ford Centre
We headed towards the Ford Centre and arrived. On the way I saw a Camaro! It went so fast and noisy because of the engine. I saw so many Mustang GT’ s! There is all colors but my favourite was blue. We rode it twice and the cover above me was opened. The wind hit me so much that I even yelled “Oh YEAH!!!!!!” And my brother was so scared he screamed for mom. We even listened to the song “Who Let the Dogs Out” on the trip. The car is soooooo fast and loud that everyone looked at us and was amazed!
Classes and lunch
We were late for my singing classes so we left and raced to the centre with our car, the black Nissan Xterra. After an hour we were done and hungry so we went to an old Chinese restaurant and ate lots of spicy and hot stuff.
Then we went back home and rested.
Cherry Pickup Day
We get to eat free cherries and pick some to buy! And Chen Li is coming with us with his family too! We checked the weather report and found that the weather is very hot. We put on sunscreen hats and brought water, lots of it.
Going there
We drove near Niagara Falls and followed Chen Li to Cherry Avenues. It was a cool farm with many fruit and vegetables growing. When we got there, we get to take our own baskets and ride the tractor to the cherries. Then we picked cherries. Most of them were too ripe so they have cuts in them. I found a tree that had many good ones and I picked most of my cherries from it. Then Helen found a tree with bright red cherries that were very small. I tasted them and they tasted sweet and a little sour. I picked many from that tree too and Helen kept on eating the cherries from it. We got a full basket so we went back on the tractor again and paid for the cherries.
Lunch
We were hungry now because it was past lunchtime so we went to McDonald’s for lunch.
Rest
After lunch, we went to Chen Li’s house for dinner to make dumplimps. We all liked them and enjoyed it.
Play
Then we played on the computer and got many cool stuff. my brother played a toy of Thomas and Friends with Helen’s brother. it was cool!
It was very nice trip getting cherries.
